The East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market is a community-based and youth-focused Certified Farmers' Market. Founded in June 2008, the Market seeks to provide a source of fresh, healthy and local produce, and a friendly community gathering space, right here in East Palo Alto.
The Market is advised by a volunteer Market Advisory Committee. Made up of community members, shoppers, local leaders and health professionals, the Committee provides guidance and direction for the Market's operations. They meet twice monthly, on weekday evenings. If you're interested in attending a meeting, or helping out, please send the Committee a note.

EBT/food stamps, WIC FMNP and senior FMNP checks are always accepted at the Market. Customers using these forms of payment are entitled to be treated with the very same respect and dignity that all shoppers at the East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market deserve. For more info, please click here.
The East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market would not be possible without the financial and logistical support of Collective Roots, a nonprofit organization founded and based in East Palo Alto. The mission of Collective Roots is to educate and engage youth and communities in food system change through sustainable programs that impact health, education, and the environment.
Relying on extensive collaboration and partnership to enable all aspects of its work, Collective Roots achieves its mission through the innovative integration and implementation of three program areas: garden-based education, food system change, and environmental action. For more information on Collective Roots, click here.
Two SamTrans bus lines 281 and 296 run directly in front of the Market, with a stop just steps away from the farmers at the corner of University Avenue and Bay Road. See 511.org for more information.
